It might be a bit problematic since many users already run as the computer administrator.

make it compatible with search engines from the mycroft project.
Every time I use a search engine add-on that was obtained via Mycroft, an annoying window pops up. It doesn't matter how many times I choose to allow said engine, it never learns.

Thanks for your feedback Ravyn.
Can you please guide us to an exact sequence of search engine setup? (just tried one and it didn’t alert me on it).
Also, have you tried changing the BrowserProtect settings on alerts? -

Yahoo hijacking of my search engine
Browser protect is not preventing the hijacking of my search engine by Yahoo. I am very frustrated by this. I have had them for my email service for many years and used to use them for my home page until this happened. I blocked yahoo in my settings when I first ran your software, but yahoo is still taking over as the default search engine. I am going to try uninstalling firefox again and see if that helps

Most likely re-installing Firefox wouldn’t help. Look for a Toolbar setting under your Windows Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Feel free to contact us at support@browserprotect.org.

Allow administrator to install BrowserProtect to run under all user accounts instead of just administrator.
It appears that BrowserProtect can run under only the user account that installed it. I have a family computer with individual accounts for each family member. When I install BrowswerProtect, it works only for the account that installed it. When I try to install separately for another account, it wipes the installation for the other account. Tried this on both Windows7 and WindowsXP. Please create an installation package that installs BrowserProtect for all users of a single computer.
